Chinese Porcelain “green Tea

CHINESE PORCELAIN “GREEN TEA SERVICE” WITH 6 SMALL CUPS, TEAPOT & CREAMER 50’-60. This set was collected by an Air Force Officer who was stationed in Hawaii several times. They fell in love with oriental items. I lived in Taiwan for three years and have a good eye for the unique and older items. This set was new in the box until I opened the box and took these out for photos. What caught my eye was the unique glazing technique. It is stunning and colorful; kind of mid-Century Modern from China. The set is perfect. No flaws of and kind as it had been in a box for about 75 years. It is beautiful and extremely unusual in the glazing technique. The couple swore it was from China, but with no markings what so ever, I don’t know. It looks kind of like some of the pottery coming out of Europe in the e1950’s and 1960’s.
